76105011 Ford Anglia Ambassador Blue

The Ford Motor Company launched their Ford Anglia 105E in 1959, representing the 4th generation of the marque.  Its unique features included a backward slanting rear window and despite its unusual shape, it generated over a million sales from the Dagenham plant. Options included 2-door saloon, 3-door estate and a 2-door van.

Oxford’s choice is the 2-door family saloon version and for this release in a superb deep blue, it is registered 579 DYP.  The interior is a contrasting Wedgwood blue with a white steering wheel.  The exterior trim is silver, including a silver line along the waist, which looks really good against the dark blue body. The wheels and radiator grille are also silver and the Anglia De Luxe branding is printed across the boot.  A streak of red on the front of the bonnet rounds off a striking little model.
